It’s Spirit Week at Hampton Christian Elementary School!
Monday – Hat Day
Tuesday – Twin Day
Wednesday – Pajama Day
Thursday – Chapel Dress
Friday – Blue, White & Gold Day
So that makes today…Twin Day! Gabe has been so excited about Twin Day, in fact the only other ‘day’ he was looking forward to more is PJ day – where he’ll get to wear his Super Mario pj’s to school! Obviously dressing Gabe up to match Eden would be a horrible idea for many reasons. So our only other option is to dress Eden like Gabe…which is a little more socially acceptable…especially at a Christian School.
Eden however, was not so happy about this decision. I tried for about 15 minutes to get her dressed and she kept crying and breaking down going on and on about how she didn't 'want to be a boy'. I finally gave in and decided that I’d just let her wear something else to school but wanted to at least snap a couple of pictures of her and Gabe first…I love that you can see the transition in her mood once she finally realizes that just because she is dressed like bubby doesn’t mean she isn’t still a girl.
