I am so thankful that Gabe has made so many friends at school. And it always warms my heart to see the kids interacting with other children their age. Saturday, Gabe’s best buddy Ayden had his 5th Birthday party and we all had a BLAST! Here’s a recap.
Repeat after Ayden…’I pledge allegiance to the Party…’
The kids had a blast playing in Ayden’s room…we even figured out that Ayden and Gabe have the exact same drum set! I foresee some ‘jam sessions’ (as Gabe calls them) in our future.
Ladies and Gentleman it is with great pleasure that I introduce to you…Tricky Eric! Or as Ayden’s dad kept referring to him…Freaky Eric! HA!
So the tin started out empty…
But after adding flour (which got all over the rug) and soda pop (gross)…
Can I just say that it totally creeped me out that Tricky Eric set the ‘ingredients’ in that metal tin on fire…inside the house…
WOW! That was really close to the TV! Ayden’s dad’s eyes were as big as golf balls!
Gabe also got to help out with a magic trick.
The grand finale – Ayden turned a balloon into a real bunny!
Happy Birthday to you! Make a wish!
Time to open presents! The kids all ended up cornering poor Ayden as he opened his gifts so I couldn’t really see to recap what all he got – but he seemed happy and there were a lot of oohs and ahhs from the kids – so I’m going to assume all was well in the present department.
Is the Devion or Devon? I can’t tell – they are identical twins…and I mean identical! They’re always trying to trick the teachers at school – most of the time successfully! Anyway, he loved the card we got for Ayden it lit up and sang “Celebrate good times come on!”
We had such a great time I think we were the last to leave. I love this picture of Ayden! You can almost hear him begging for Gabe stay!
